Departing from Plymouth's famous Barbican we proceed across the historic Plymouth Sound, flanked by the beautiful Devon & Cornish coasts. On passing the spectacular breakwater we make for the plankton-rich deep waters where the mackerel & bigger species await!

Conservation is at the core of our philosophy - we only harvest enough fish to satisfy your needs. The rest are released to fight another day.

All of our trips offer the opportunity of seeing some of our wonderfully diverse wildlife. Previous sightings include: seabirds, sunfish, minke whales, basking sharks, dolphins and leatherback turtles!

2.5hr Mackerel Trip
Jigging for the hard fighting mackerel is great fun for everyone; keep what you catch for supper!



3hr General Fishing Trip
The same as the mackerel trip with added time to target other species like whiting, gurnard, dogfish etc.

 

4hr Deep Sea Trip
After catching enough mackerel and bait for yourselves we make for one of the many reefs or wrecks in the area. Larger species are encountered like whiting, pollock, pouting, ling and the infamous Conger Eel!


Eco & Wildlife Trip
Searching for wildlife whilst listening to an informative and entertaining commentary from our skipper. Learn about our fascinating marine environment including its history, shipwrecks, geology and smuggler's tales!

1hr Scenic & Naval Harbour Cruise
See the warships and historic Dockyard and the scenic Cornish coast. Full commentary on all trips.

Cawsand Ferry Crossing
Regular daily crossings between the Cornish villages of Cawsand and Kingsand on the Rame peninsula and the Barbican Landing Stage on Plymouth's famous Barbican.
